The grapes were sourced from the Bottelary region of Stellenbosch. Harvesting was carried out across two vineyard blocks, picked 10 days apart to capture layered ripeness and complexity. The first block was harvested at 22° Balling, followed by the second block at 23° Balling. The wine presents a light colour intensity with a medium-bodied palate. Primary fruit expression includes plum, raspberry, blueberry, and cherry. Secondary notes of tobacco and dark chocolate are supported by tertiary nuances of black pepper and well-integrated oak. The tannin structure is fine-grained, contributing to an elegant texture and balanced finish.
